OPPO’s first entry into the global foldable market, the Find N2 Flip has just made its official debut in South East Asia today. Immediately after the launch, the company then revealed the device’s availability for Malaysia and has since begun accepting pre-orders for it.
Originally revealed to the world in December last year, the sign of its imminent arrival in Malaysia first appeared in early January after it was spotted on SIRIM’s database. OPPO then generally confirmed it last month as the company is gearing up for the phone’s regional launch event.
For those who are not familiar with the device, the Find N2 Flip is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ and also carries 8GB LPDDR5 RAM alongside UFS3.1-based 256GB internal storage. When unfolded, one would be welcomed by a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2520 x 1080 which is equivalent to Full HD+.
Through LTPO technology, the main screen can deliver a variable refresh rate of between 1Hz to 120Hz alongside a 240Hz touch sampling rate. On the other hand, the Find N2 Flip also features a 3.26-inch cover screen with 720 x 382 resolution, a refresh rate range of 30Hz to 60Hz, and a 120Hz touch sampling rate.

For the phone’s photography system which was co-developed with Hasselblad and also featured the in-house MariSilicon X Imaging NPU, the Find N2 Flip relies on a 50MP primary camera which features a Sony IMX890 1/1.56-inch sensor and an f/1.8 7P lens. The foldable also utilizes an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera with a 112-degree field of view while there is also a 32MP Sony IMX709 f/2.4 AF selfie camera on the centre-top part of its display.
Completing its general specifications is a dual-battery setup that altogether provides a total battery capacity of 4300mAh that is able to provide up to 20 hours of battery life for video streaming. Through OPPO’s 44W SuperVOOC flash technology, the company said that users can obtain 50% of the battery capacity in just 23 minutes.
When it comes to pricing, the Find N2 Flip will be coming to Malaysia with a price tag of RM3,999. For early birds that pre-order their device from today onwards until 10 March, they will be provided with the specially designed PU-based case, OPPO Enco Air3 true wireless earbuds, and 1-year extended warranty.
