The OPPO Find X10 series has been the subject of various leaks over the past few months. Now, an OPPO executive has confirmed that the smartphone series will officially debut in China this month.
The announcement was made by OPPO Find series product manager Zhuo Shijie on Weibo. In the same post, the executive also shared a brief glimpse of the phone’s rear camera module, teasing its redesigned appearance and some of the camera-related features.
To refresh your memory, previous rumours and leaked images suggested that the Find X10 series would consist of three models: the vanilla Find X10, Find X10 Pro, and Find X10 Pro Max. OPPO has now confirmed that the base model will feature two 200MP cameras, while the Pro Max will take things a step further with a triple-200MP camera setup.
Regardless of the model, the camera systems are co-developed by OPPO and Hasselblad. Shijie also revealed that the flagship series will introduce a new “Hasselblad Ultra-Clear Native Camera”, which is said to deliver clearer images, more accurate colours, and more realistic lighting and shadows.
According to an image attached to the post, the series will also feature OPPO’s second-generation Danxia Colour Reproduction lens. This dedicated colour sensor supports 24-channel sampling and up to 15EV of dynamic range. The image also says that the series also features the company’s new-generation LUMO colour science, which is designed to improve colour reproduction and produce more natural-looking skin tones.
It’s worth noting that Shijie did not reveal exactly when the Find X10 series will launch in China, nor did he provide any details regarding its availability in other markets. However, he said OPPO will gradually reveal more details about the lineup starting this week, so we should not have to wait long for more information.
