Back during the weekend, Touch ‘n Go (TNG) began releasing several teasers and promotions about a special self-titled Enhanced Christmas Edition NFC card, designed in the shape of a keychain-friendly gingerbread man. Well, some of you will be happy to know that the charm is now officially available for preorder.

The official announcement of the special edition Christmas Edition TNG Enhanced charm went public within the last hour and according to TNG official Facebook page, interested consumers can make their preorders via the company’s eWallet Lazada eShop. Do note that consumers are limited to two units of the product, and while stocks last. Price-wise, the charm retails for RM30 per unit.

In regards to that last point, as of this publication, it appears that all current preorder stocks of the TNG Enhanced Christmas Edition Charm have sold out. In all honesty, we hardly find this surprising, given the product’s uniqueness and, dare we say it, charm and appeal to the wider masses.

Of course, it is also wholly possible that the entire preorder stock of the TNG Enhanced Christmas Edition Charms may have been snatched up by unscrupulous scalpers, given the popularity of the original TNG Enhanced cards when they made their debut.

As with all TNG Enhanced cards, the balance of the Christmas Edition Charm can be loaded and topped up via the e-wallet’s official app. In addition, users of the digital wallet will also be happy to know that, just as they would their usual card, they will be able to load up the charm by simply tapping it on the back of a phone that supports the NFC feature.

To state more of the obvious, the TNG Enhanced Christmas Edition charm can then also be used for public transportation, as well as to pay for other services, where the platform is accepted as a form of payment.
