YTL Communications has recently revamped its postpaid offering by launching the new Yes Infinite plan. In addition to that, the telco has also launched the Plus version of the plan that is meant to cater for those who need a 5G phone to go with the new plan.

In general, the new Infinite+ is essentially just an extension of the Infinite plan. Subscribers of the Plus plan will be provided with unlimited access to 4G and 5G services just like the standard Infinite plan which also promises no Fair Usage Policy (FUP) restrictions.

Yes Infinite Plan

Similarly, the Infinite+ plan is divided into several tiers based on their hotspot quota. For example, Infinite+ Basic comes with 10GB of hotspot data while the quota for the Infinite+ Standard plan is 40GB.

As for the Infinite+ Premium and Infinite+ Ultra, they offer 70GB and 100GB of hotspot quota, respectively. In fact, the Infinite+ plan has the same monthly fee as the Infinite plan which ranges from RM58 to RM178.

So, what made Infinite+ different is the fact that it comes with a free 5G phone which consumers can obtain just by agreeing to a 36-month contract when they sign for the Infinite plan. When it comes to the actual 5G phone that Yes provides to customers, it depends on the respective Infinite+ tier.

Specifically, subscribers of the Infinite+ Basic plan will be provided with a vivo Y55+ 5G while those who opted for the Infinite+ Standard plan can choose to either have Samsung Galaxy A33 5G or Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.

For Infinite+ Premium subscribers, the options that are available to them include Samsung Galaxy A53 5G and OPPO Reno7 5G. There are also flagship models such as Samsung Galaxy S22 5G and vivo X80 5G which are reserved for the Infinite+ Ultra subscribers.

As most telco’s contract period maxed out at 24 months, so Yes Infinite+ 36 month contract is certainly the lengthiest in the industry. To our knowledge, the only other telco that offers a 36-month contract is Maxis via its Zerolution program.

The new Yes Infinite+ plan will be officially available for consumers starting on 9 June through the telco’s website, MyYes app, Yes Stores or Kiosks as well as Samsung, vivo, OPPO, and Xiaomi dealers. However, pre-registration is already open right now at the Yes website.
