Yes is expanding its postpaid offerings with the introduction of the new Yes AI 30 plan. If the name doesn’t already make it obvious, the package includes access to AI software. To be more specific, customers get a free ILMUchat Pro subscription.

For those unaware, ILMUchat is Malaysia’s homegrown AI chatbot developed by Yes parent company YTL. As such, it is capable of understanding the local language, dialects, and context. As with any other chatbot, users can access its basic features for free. However, the paid Pro tier offers additional perks, such as unlimited uploads and conversations, coding, the creation of slides and presentations, plus early access to new features. This subscription is normally priced at RM50 per month, but again, Yes AI 30 provides it at no additional cost.

ILMUchat new features general rolloutBeyond that, the telco plan comes with uncapped 5G advanced data and speed. In addition to this, the package provides uncapped 4G data at up to 7Mbps, 12GB hotspot allocation, as well as unlimited calls and on-net SMS. However, the plan does not support roaming, so those planning to travel overseas must upgrade to a suitable package.

As for pricing, the first six months will set you back RM20/month, thanks to a RM10 waiver. Once this period is up, customers will have to pay RM30/month. Furthermore, the plan comes with no contracts, and no upfront payments for Malaysian customers. Those interested in the plan can subscribe via the Yes Store or the telco’s authorised dealers. The plan is also available via the company’s official website and the MyYes app.

It is worth noting that while Yes AI 30 emphasises the access to ILMUchat Pro as its main appeal, it is not the only offering that includes the subscription. In fact, all of the company’s postpaid plans so far include access to ILMUchat Pro. That said, Yes AI 30 is the most affordable option at the moment.
