vivo T1 Series Debuts In Malaysia; Price Starts From RM649

Consists of a 5G-enabled Snapdragon 778G variant and a Snapdragon 680 4G model.

vivo today officially launched its new T1 smartphone series in Malaysia, which is now available for purchase via the brand’s E-store, as well as its online stores on Shopee and Lazada. The line-up consists of two models: the 5G-enabled vivo T1 and the more affordable vivo T1x, which is offered in two memory configurations.

The T1 comes with a notched 6.44-inch AMOLED with 2404 x 1080 FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual nano SIM compatibility, a built-in vapour chamber cooling system, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for external audio accessories. Under its hood is a Snapdragon 778G chipset, paired together with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Powering the phone, on the other hand, is a 4,700mAh battery with 66W fast charging support via USB-C.

On its back is a triple camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro sensor. Meanwhile, situated in the display’s notch is a 16MP front-facing camera.

Next up is the vivo T1x, which features a larger 6.58-inch display with 2408 x 1080 FHD+ resolution, and 90Hz refresh rate. Also onboard is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual nano SIM support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Internally, the phone packs a Snapdragon 680 chipset, along with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. As for battery, the T1x comes with 5,000mAh of capacity and supports 18W fast charging via USB-C.

Found on the back of the smartphone’s plastic body is a triple camera setup which consists of a 50MP primary sensor, 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro sensor. Like its sibling, housed within the notch on its display is a 16MP selfie camera.

In commemoration of their launch, both models are currently offered at discounted prices throughout 23 April until 8 May 2022. Specifically, the vivo T1 is currently available now for RM1,249, whereas the vivo T1x is offered at RM649 for the 4GB+64GB configuration and RM799 for the 8GB+128GB. Outside of this promotion, the phones will retail at RM1,299, RM699 and RM899 respectively. Just in case you’re wondering, all three models under the vivo T1 series are shipped together with power adapters and USB-C cables.
