Performance details allegedly belonging to an Intel ARC A370M GPU were first spotted on BAPCO (subscription required) and more specifically, the results were from a CrossMark benchmark. Specifically, the scores seemingly belong to the mobile GPU, based on Intel’s Xe architecture and more specifically, the Xe-HPG architecture.

As for the rest of the laptop’s components, the list shows that it was paired with a 12th generation Intel Core i7-12800H processor with a 14-cores, 20-threads configuration, a 500GB Samsung 980 SSD, and strangely, just 8GB of DDR5-4800MHz. In addition to that, it looks like the laptop’s display has a maximum resolution of 4K (3840 x 2160), although that’s not really important at this point.

In regards to the A370M’s specifications, previous reports point towards the mobile GPU sporting 128 Execution Units (EUs), 4GB GDDR6 running at 14Gbps, running across a 64-bit memory bus. As you can surmise, this isn’t meant to be a high-performance GPU and actually falls more inline with both AMD’s and NVIDIA’s own entry-level GPUs. Unfortunately, there is no further details about its performance beyond the CrossMark test but even then, the test itself isn’t a holistic representation of the GPU’s prowess.

As for when we can expect the Intel ARC A370M mobile GPU, it is looking likely that the chipmaker could launch it in laptops, along with other more powerful Alchemist variants of the GPU, closer to the end of the first quarter of 2022. However, that’s just a speculation and as these things go, healthy skepticism is advised.
