MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Graphics Cards Now Available In Malaysia; Starts From RM8499

MSI’s custom-cooled GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards are finally available in Malaysia. Like many of NVIDIA’s AiB partners, the company is selling the card under three of its SKUs.

The RTX 3080 Ti variants in question are the SUPRIM X, Gaming X Trio, and VENTUS 3X. Naturally, it goes without saying that the RTX 3080 Ti SUPRIM X is MSI’s top-of-the-line series and as such, the card comes with the very best MSI has to offer. In terms of design, aesthetics, and cooling. That include the brand’s TRi Frozr 2S cooling technology, triple TORX Fan 4.0 that feature uniquely designed fan blades and ball bearings.

Underneath the hood, the GPU’s heat is taken and dissipated by a solid nickel-plated copper plate, while the backplate provides additional aid in heat management. As for its performance, the card’s Gaming mode runs at 1830MHz, while its Extreme mode pushes that frequency to 1845MHz. On that note, the card pulls significantly more power at 400W and requires an 850W PSU, instead of NVIDIA’ recommended 750W. Oh, and the card will need three 8-pin PCIe connectors to run.

Moving down the line, the RTX 3080 Ti Gaming X Trio also features a triple-fan layout and requires three 8-pin PCIe connectors in order to run. It also has a boost clock of 1770MHz, but still operates under the card’s 350W TGP.

Lastly, there’s the RTX 3080 Ti Ventus 3X. This is clearly the less garish of the trio and is basically closer in terms of specs to a Founders Edition RTX 3080 Ti. On that note, the card has a boost clock of 1695MHz, and requires two 8-pin PCIe power connectors to run.

Pricing of MSI’s RTX 3080 Ti cards starts at RM8499 for the Ventus 3X, RM8699 for the Gaming X Trio, and RM8999 for the SUPRIM X. Regardless of model, all three cards feature 12GB GDDR6X memory, a 384-bit memory bus, 19Gbps memory speed, and 10240 CUDA cores.
