ASUS Malaysia has officially launched its VivoBook 14 laptop in the country. The successor to last year’s VivoBook series, ASUS has simply updated its latest model with current hardware specifications and features.

Firstly, the VivoBook 14 now flaunts Intel’s 10th generation Core series CPU, specifically, the Core i5-10210U. In addition to the new CPU, this portable machine also comes with an NVIDIA GeForce MX330 discrete GPU, 4GB RAM, and a 512GB M.2 SSD for storage.  Connectivity-wise, the laptop comes equipped with Intel’s Wi-Fi 6 module.

It’s display measures in at 15.6-inches and has Full HD native resolution. There’s also a decent amount of ports on the VivoBook 14, including a USB-C 3.2 Gen1 port, a USB-A 3.2 Gen1 port, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI 1.4 port, a 3.5mm audio jack combo, and a microSD card reader.

For power, the VivoBook 14 runs on a 42WHr battery, but more importantly, the laptop’s weight is fairly light at 1.4kg. We say fairly light, simply because it isn’t the lightest notebook’s we’ve encountered.

The ASUS VivoBook 14 is already available for purchase at all authorised ASUS stores and online retail stores, including Lazada and Shopee. The laptop will retail at an SRP of RM2899. In conjunction with the launch of the notebook, ASUS is giving away Grab vouchers worth RM100 for free, to the first 30 consumers who purchase the laptop via Lazada or Shopee.

Do note that this promotion is only applicable starting from today until 27 September, and will be conducted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
