AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 Series “Big Navi” graphics cards are set to launch on 28 October, but as these things usually go on the internet, there are some impatient individuals who just can’t help themselves and choose to leak information about the cards. In this case, the culprit chose to leak an image of the card in real life, but also another render.
The image featuring the Big Navi card’s physical form and its triple-fan cooler solution provides a better look of the card AMD had initially leaked in the form of a render within Fortnite Creative Island map. The image was sent to JazTwoCents via an unnamed source, and you can see the man rant on about it on his official YouTube channel.
It’s in that same video that, around the 15:11 timestamp, you’ll also see another Radeon RX 6000 series card, but one with a dual-fan configuration instead of the triple-fan design that AMD is undoubtedly going to ship out first.
Getting back on point, the card’s design looks similar to the first, while it also sports dual 8-pin PCIe connectors, suggesting that the card may be packing heat. Even though it feels that the card will be marketed as a lower-tier variant of the new series.
Designs notwithstanding, at the very least, both cards will ship out with AMD’s RDNA2 GPU architecture, along with the relevant hardware for real-time ray-tracing and variable rate shading. That finally puts the card on the same bandwagon as its rival, NVIDIA.
