It was only recently that Waze has launched the new desktop-based Live Map feature. However, it looks like the Google-owned company still have plenty of new features to deliver to millions of users that depend on its navigational app to get to their destinations.
Unveiled during the recent Waze On event which is its first-ever virtual global event, one of them is the lane guidance feature that is apparently already rolling out to select users. Through this feature, the Waze app will let users know which lane they should be in when they have to make an exit from or into a highway.
Another new feature that has made its debut at Waze On is the trip suggestions that will show Waze users personalised information based on their previous trips. The idea is that you are able to obtain the related info to recently or frequently visited places as soon as you turn on the Waze app.
The feature works side by side with yet another new functionality that is coming to the app soon which is traffic notifications. This is something that Waze already implemented on planned drives for quite some time but now, it will finally be made available dynamically for favourite and frequent destinations.
Waze users can expect to see these new features within their app sometime this coming October. However, the exact roll out for Malaysia was not revealed by the company which means you just have to keep a look for them to be implemented automatically in your device.
