A variety of new Samsung products were introduced during the Galaxy Unpacked virtual event that was held last week on 5 August 2020. Among these are the brand’s latest tablet offerings, the Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7 Plus, which were just recently confirmed to be released locally later this month by Samsung Malaysia.
To recap, the Galaxy Tab S7 features an 11-inch LCD display, while the Tab S7 Plus offers a 12.4-inch Super AMOLED screen – both featuring a refresh rate of 120Hz. The tablet duo are each equipped with a Snapdragon 865 chipset, with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Battery-wise, the standard and Plus variants offer a capacity of 8,000mAh and 10,800mAh respectively. On that note, both tablets feature 45W fast charging support via USB-C to keep their batteries all juiced up. Last but not least, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series will also include an updated S-Pen accessory as part of the package.
Samsung Malaysia has announced that the Galaxy Tab S7 and the Tab S7 Plus will arrive in Malaysia on 28 August onwards, but their prices have yet to be revealed. For reference, the standard model of the tablet retails at USD650 (~RM2,725) globally, while the Plus variant is priced at USD850 (~RM3,564).
