Lenovo today has announced the availability of ThinkBook Plus in Malaysia. Continuing the lineage of ThinkBook series in our market, the new model is not like other models in the series though as it is equipped with two different screens.
While the main screen on ThinkBook Plus is a traditional 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display, the ThinkBook Plus also features a 10.8-inch monochromatic e-ink display on its lid. Together with the Lenovo Precision Pen which comes standard with the laptop, users can utilise the secondary e-ink display to sketch and jot notes as well as annotate PDF files.
Users can also choose to have calendar, messages, and e-mail notifications to be displayed on the e-ink display when the laptop’s lid is closed. Not surprisingly, it can also be used as an e-reader and since the laptop weights at around 1.4kg, the ThinkBook Plus would not be a burden to be carried around by mobile warriors out there.
In terms of firepower, the ThinkBook Plus in Malaysia currently comes with 10th Gen Intel Core i5-10210U alongside 8GB RAM and 512GB solid state drive. The new laptop is now available for purchase through Lenovo Malaysia’s official website for RM 5849.
