Razer has announced that it will provide free face mask in Malaysia as part of its #RazerForLife initiative that was organized in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Unlike in Singapore though, the distribution will not take place via vending machines.
Through a collaboration between Razer Fintech and Berjaya Corporation, the face mask which is manufactured by Razer Health will be delivered through 7-Eleven Malaysia stores. To obtain it, they need to be a verified user of Razer Pay e-wallet and can redeem one free mask per month from July to November 2020 which equivalent to 5 face masks in total per user.
Alternatively, you can also obtain the face mask from 1 July to 31 December 2020 by making at least one transaction of RM 10 and above through Razer Pay. This method of distribution does not come with the monthly limit although users are still limited to one mask redemption per day.
While 7-Eleven Malaysia might be the only retailer that is supporting the #RazerForLife initiative at the moment, the company is welcoming others to be part of it. Retailers that are interested to participate can reach out to Razer Fintech by emailing razerpay-sales@razer.com.
