POCO F2 Pro Teasers Show Up On Twitter and Online Retailer

The POCO X2 was launched two months ago. And now, the teasers for the brand’s next phone, the POCO F2 Pro, are already out and about. These come from POCO’s own Twitter account, as well as online retailer Gearbest.

POCO isn’t giving much away on Twitter, besides the very cryptic message of “POCO is back”. There’s nothing else to be gleamed from this, unlike the promo page on Gearbest.

After 256 days of waiting, today we can finally say:#POCOisBACK! pic.twitter.com/3REalj1cko

On the retailer’s page, we see the phone comes with two RAM and storage configurations. They are the 6GB + 128GB combo and the 8GB + 256GB combo. There’s no price for either just yet, which is expected. One of the promo material also reads “most affordable – most powerful chipset”, with an image that suggests a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.

The POCO F2 Pro promo images also suggest that the phone will have a full-screen display. Based on the promo image, there are no notches or punch hole cutouts on the front of the phone. This suggest the phone will come with a popup camera module, which is not shown.

The promo images also show the camera island at the back, but not the actual number of cameras. And it’s pretty much the same story for the battery, with claims of it being large without a number to its capacity.

With the teasers and promo material already out and about, it’s only a matter of time before the POCO F2 Pro gets officially unveiled. But since it has the Pro suffix, chances are there’s a standard POCO F2 in the works as well, which has gone through the trademark application process.
