Ahead of the Black Shark 3 Malaysian launch which is scheduled to take place on 30 April, the company yesterday has released a new accessory into our market. It comes in the form of a new addition to Black Shark FunCooler mobile thermal attachment line-up.

Originally shown to the world at the launch of Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro back in February, this particular FunCooler variant which is referred as the standard FunCooler might looked identical to the FunCooler Pro that was made available in Malaysia last month. Just like the Pro model, it is also a USB-based universal clip-on thermal accessory that can generally work with any Android or iOS smartphone.

However, there are several significant differences between both models. In addition to its white exterior, the standard FunCooler also has no RGB lighting and Bluetooth capability which means that you can’t neither customize its light effects nor switch between its two operation preset.

The cooling capability of the standard FunCooler is also slightly lower since it comes with a slower fan that also has 5 fan blades as opposed to 7 fan blades on the Pro model. It also comes with a different radiator that has 91 fins while the radiator on the Pro model has 147 fins.

Nevertheless, the standard FunCooler model still able to cool down one’s phone with temperature reduction of up to 10 °C in just minutes. While the FunCooler Pro is priced at RM 199, the standard model can be obtained right away at a much lower price tag of RM 139 through Black Shark’s official Lazada and Shopee store.
