Around the middle of March, Samsung Malaysia has teased the arrival of its 2020 Lifestyle TV series into our market which apparently scheduled to take place some time this month. While the company has yet to reveal the actual release date for these new models, it turns out that their local pricing has appeared on Samsung Malaysia’s website.
Let us start with The Sero which made it into the limelight due to the inclusion of self-rotating mechanism that allows the 4K QLED TV to be viewed in either traditional landscape position or the portrait mode. The latter position is meant to mimic smartphone as The Sero was apparently designed for millennials that want to enjoy their mobile content or apps on larger screen.
Available only with 43-inch screen size, The Sero 4K QLED Smart Lifestyle TV carries a price tag of RM 6,999 according to Samsung Malaysia’s website. Aside from that, the website has also listed the price for The Serif which another 4K QLED Smart Lifestyle TV offerings from Samsung.
While The Serif is not as elaborate as The Sero, it is still a designer product since the 4K QLED Smart Lifestyle TV features an I-shaped frame and comes with a detachable floor stand. As for the price, The Serif which comes only with 55-inch display size option can be obtained for RM 6,499.
Not to forger, there is also The Frame which as per its name is designed to mimic art frames that are used to display artworks in galleries. In fact, the 4K QLED Smart Lifestyle TV comes with its own Art Mode in which users can choose to showcase art when they turned the TV off.
According to the Samsung Malaysia’s website, the 65-inch variant of The Frame is priced at RM 10,999 while the price for the smaller 55-inch variant was not stated over there. As you can see from previous screenshots, all three 2020 Samsung 4K QLED Smart Lifestyle TV models can be purchased through the site immediately.
That being said, the company is not able to deliver larger products during the on-going Movement Control Order period, as noted in the checkout page shown above. So, you can buy them now but still have to wait until MCO is over before any of these new 2020 Samsung 4K QLED Smart Lifestyle TVs arrive in your home.
