Lenovo unveiled their new gaming laptop line-ups, the Legion 7i and Legion 5i, on 2 April 2020. Both laptops will offer up to the latest 10th Gen Intel Core H-Series mobile processors, which was recently announced by Intel earlier today.
The Lenovo Legion 7i is equipped with NVIDIA’s latest GeForce RTX 2080 Super GPU with Max-Q design, while the Legion 5i features the RTX 2060. RAM and storage configurations are not known at this time, as the company is still being tight lipped regarding the specifications for both gaming devices.
Aside from also featuring G-SYNC for smoother and tear-free visuals, the new Legion laptops also feature NVIDIA’s new Advanced Optimus feature which improves battery efficiency. The latter functions by dynamically detecting GPU workloads and automatically connects either the GPU or the CPU’s integrated graphics to the display, depending on the workload.
In terms of pricing, the Lenovo Legion 7i will be available starting at US$1199 (~RM5230), while the Legion 5i starts from US$999 (~RM4,358). The company mentions that the laptops’ availability will vary by region, with no date planned just yet for Malaysia.
