Lenovo’s upcoming Legion Y700 Infinite gaming tablet has appeared in real-world photos ahead of its official launch in China on 25 August, giving us an early look at its design. The photos, posted on Weibo, show the tablet in a dark blue finish with Legion branding and a single rear camera accompanied by an LED flash.
The front of the tablet can also be seen running Lenovo’s Android interface, while its landscape-oriented design remains broadly familiar to the existing Legion Y700 series. One notable visual difference is the new rear design, which combines the illuminated Legion logo and the lone camera unit together.
Alleged Specifications
The Legion Y700 Infinite is expected to feature an 8.4-inch OLED display with a 2,560 x 1,600 px resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate and an impressive 3,400Hz touch sampling rate. The tablet will reportedly be powered by an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with Lenovo claiming an AnTuTu score of 4,585,844 points. The tablet is also said to feature a massive 15,000mm² vapour chamber.
Other leaked specifications include up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, with the base model reportedly offering 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Interestingly, the tablet is expected to pack a roughly 7,500mAh battery with 68W wired charging, which is a sizeable reduction from the 9,000mAh battery found in the existing Legion Y700.
The chassis is said to measure just 6.5mm thick and weigh around 298g, making it relatively compact for a gaming-focused tablet. Other reported hardware includes 5G support, an 8MP front camera, 50MP rear camera, dual USB-C ports and a fingerprint reader. Lenovo has also confirmed accessories such as the G9 controller and CR7 Supreme Cooler Kit.
Is It Coming To Malaysia?
It should be noted that the Legion Y700 is sold internationally as the Legion Tab, including in Malaysia. The 2026 model was introduced locally earlier this year for RM3,549, so there is a possibility that the Y700 Infinite could eventually arrive here in the near future.
For now, however, Lenovo has only confirmed the 25 August launch in China, with international availability and pricing yet to be announced. More details should be revealed when the company officially unveils the tablet later this month.
