Tune Talk previously announced that it will be giving away 20% extra credit when you top up before 31 March. Now, the telco is offering free 1GB of mobile data starting 1 April. This new offer is in line with the initiative by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
Like the other telcos, you’ll be able to use this 1GB of free mobile data between the hours of 8AM and 6PM. As mentioned earlier, this free data will be available starting 1 April, and will go on until the end of the extended Movement Control Order (MCO). For now, this means the free data will be available until 14 April 2020.

Though unlike the free credit, this is something that you have to opt into. On its dedicated page, Tune Talk says you’ll need to activate your free 1GB with a text message. Fortunately, this is a one-time thing, so you don’t have to do this every day to enjoy your daily 1GB of free mobile data.
There’s no need to worry about eligibility either, as the telco says this is available to all Tune Talk or Partner subscribers. You can find out more about the free 1GB data by heading to its dedicated page, linked below.
