Earlier this week, we have already seen Maxis provides free data access to selected websites that carry vital information and update that might be related to COVID-19 pandemic. As it turns out, the telco has added few more offerings for its customers for the on-going Movement Control Order (MCO) period.

For Maxis and Hotlink postpaid customers, they will be able to redeem 3GB of data from Friday, 27 March onwards via MyMaxis or Hotlink Flex app. This one-time free 3GB data add-on has a validity period of 30 days.

Starting from the same date, Maxis postpaid customers can also utilize Skype, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams without any effect on their data quota. This implementation will take place automatically, so there is nothing that customers need to perform or redeem on their end.

As for Hotlink prepaid customers, they will receive free 20GB on top of their HotlinkMU purchases starting this coming Monday, 23 March. This additional 20GB data will be provided to customers automatically and can be used for all Internet activities including streaming as well as downloads on any given time of the day.

Also through HotlinkMU deals, Hotlink prepaid customers are able to receive 30% cashback credits when they purchase digital reloads. To see the full list of offerings that Maxis provides throughout the MCO period, head on to its official website right here.
