Last week, the realme 6 and 6 Pro were officially unveiled in India. While we’ve expected the phones to make their way here, realme Malaysia has just confirmed it on Instagram with a teaser.
Or at least, the company confirmed that the realme 6 Pro will be landing on our shores soon. But unfortunately, that’s all that can be realistically gleamed from the post. The company did not share any specific dates, let alone pricing or other details.
To recap, the realme 6 Pro has a 6.6-inch 90Hz Full HD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset, and a 4300mAh battery. It has three RAM and storage configurations, but it remains to be seen which one will be coming here. As for cameras, it has a 64MP main + 12MP telephoto + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro camera combo.
The realme 6 is mostly similar to the Pro variant. What’s different is that it has a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset, a slightly smaller display at 6.5 inches, and has a 2MP monochrome portrait lens instead of the 12MP telephoto shooter. The teaser doesn’t mention this model. But even so, it’s hard to imagine it not coming to our shores when the Pro model is.
At any rate, we’ll have to wait for for realme Malaysia to release more information about the phones. Most important among them would be when they will actually show up here.
