Alongside the pre-order and launch roadshow promotion, Samsung has also announced another deal to attract Malaysian consumers to its new flagship phone family, the Galaxy S20 series. Through this promotion which is being referred to as the “Samsung Appreciates” Trade-Up Campaign, you are able to obtain rebates for Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra in exchange with your old smartphone.

Naturally, only certain smartphones are eligible for trade-in through the campaign which is being run by CompAsia with Samsung Malaysia acting as the coordinator. The list is rather extensive and covers several brands including Samsung itself as well as Apple, Huawei, OPPO, and Vivo.

A quick look showed that the three most valuable in the list are iPhone XS Max 512GB, Samsung Galaxy S10+ 128GB, and Huawei P30 Pro 512GB which are valued at RM 2310, RM 1225, and RM 1215 respectively. However, the table also showed the value of these eligible devices will be reduced on monthly basis.

The trade-in can be performed at 68 participating Samsung Experience Stores throughout Malaysia from 3 March to 31 May 2020. For those who planning to get their hands on any of the new Galaxy S20 devices at the launch roadshow in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Kuantan, Johor Bahru, and Kota Kinabalu this weekend, you can also do so over there.

Of course, do read up and understanding all the terms and conditions of the campaign at Samsung Malaysia’s official website to make sure that you are fully aware of what you going to receive when you exchange you old phone for the discount to purchase your new Galaxy S20 devices.
