It has come to our attention that Time Internet has began the offer optional set of routers to its Home Broadband customers that wish to obtain better network performance at their premise. At the same time, the ISP has also added new offerings into its optional Wi-Fi Mesh line-up.
Collectively referred to as Time Devices, Time Internet recommends the ASUS AC86U for those who want to obtain optimal network performance for gaming purposes at a price of RM 699. For those who want speed, the ISP would offer them the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 for RM 1,809.
As a reference, the standard router that Time Internet provides to its 100Mbps and 500Mbps Home Broadband customers is the TP-Link EC230 while the 1Gbps plan comes with complimentary D-Link DIR-882. Interestingly, 100Mbps and 500Mbps customers can apparently switch to the latter router for RM 350.
For those want to have wider Wi-Fi coverage, they can opt for the Linksys Velop which functions as router and mesh Wi-Fi. This option would cost customers RM 649 for 1 node setup and RM 1,199 for 2 nodes configuration.
They can also choose the TP-Link Deco P9 2-nodes set which is a hybrid mesh Wi-Fi powerline system for RM 719 per set. Time Internet also continues to offer its previous mesh Wi-Fi system, the AirTies Air 4830 2-nodes set to customers with a price tag of RM 579.
