MSI is no stranger when it comes to audio equipment; the brand already has a sizable inventory of headsets, all designed primarily for gaming. During its CES 2020 keynote, the brand provided an intimate surprise with the Creation CH40, its first ever pair of wireless earbuds.
We know, wireless earbuds aren’t something that you would expect to see from a brand such as MSI, but it’s important to remember that beyond its gaming range, the company also has its Creation line for professionals and content creators.
Specs-wise, each of the CH40 earbuds house a 6mm Neodymium driver and support a frequency between 20Hz and 20KHz. Plus an impedance of 16 Ohms.
Like most wireless earbuds in today’s market, the CH40 comes with its own compact casing, complete with a USB-C port at the back for charging. Aesthetically, the casing is clean, save for the brand’s…well, branding on top of the lid. As for the earbuds, they sport the brand’s iconic dragon logo on the top, along with an LED along the edge that blinks either blue or red.
Sadly, we were unable to test out the quality of the Creation CH40 at the time of writing. Also, MSI was unable to tell us if it intends to bring the Creation CH40 to Malaysia, or how much it would cost, should it hit the Malaysian market. In any case, we’ll update you once we get the relevant information.
