Acer first introduced its ConceptD series back in April last year. The company has announced new additions to the line. These are the Acer ConceptD 7 Ezel and ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro convertible laptops.
These comes in a 15.6-inch form factor, with the display being a 4K IPS screen. The display is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 6, with an anti-glare coating added allowing for a better user experience when used outdoors. It’s also Pantone certified, with a colour accuracy of Delta E <2.
Their nature of being convertibles is also unlike most convertibles out there, in that you can flip the display around without moving the keyboard half of the laptop. There’s also a WACOM EMR pen hidden at the bottom right of the hinge.
On the inside, the Acer ConceptD 7 Ezel features up to an Intel 10th-gen H-series processor, Nvidia’s GeForce RTX GPUs,up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to 2TB of PCIe SSD storage. The Pro variant comes instead with an Intel Xeon processor and Nvidia Quadro RTX GPUs instead, with ECC meory support. Acer claims that, despite the power they pack, both will come equipped with a cooling system that will produce no more than 40db of noise.
The Acer ConceptD 7 Ezel will come with a starting price of US$2699 (~RM11077), while the Pro variant starts at US$3099 (~RM12718). Local pricing has yet to be announced. The company has also not yet announced any details on availability.
