A new report by the Korea Herald indicates that LG is expected to announce its V60 ThinQ phone at MWC 2020. This device will succeed the V50 ThinQ that was launched earlier this year, during MWC 2019.
Like the V50 ThinQ, the upcoming V60 ThinQ is believed to come with the ability to attach a second-screen accessory. The previous implementation allowed both screens to be independent of each other or to work together for multitasking. If it works like it did on the V50 ThinQ, then one screen will also be able to serve as a controller while the other is displaying a game. According to the report, the upcoming phone will also come with an upgraded folding structure.
Also like the previous generation, the LG V60 ThinQ will come with 5G connectivity. But beyond these two, no other details of the phone were mentioned. That said, the report also states that LG “is expected to increase its shipments in South Korea, the United States, and Japan”.
Alongside the V50 ThinQ, LG also announced the G8 ThinQ during MWC this year. It’s not yet known if the phone has a successor coming, nor if it will be revealed during MWC 2020.
