Just as Digi began accepting pre-orders for Apple Watch Series 5 LTE, the telco has also revealed details regarding the number sharing capability for the smartwatch. This particular feature now has an official name: the Digi AirSIM Number Share.

According to the FAQ page of the telco’s official website, the Digi AirSIM Number Share is available for Digi Postpaid customers although your plan has to be at least Digi Postpaid 80. However, this feature is not available for Digi Business customers though.

At the same time, you also need to own at least iPhone SE or newer models alongside the LTE variant of Apple Watch Series 5 or Series 3 in order to utilize Digi AirSIM Number Share. The telco also pointed out that your iPhone and Apple Watch need to be installed with iOS 13.2 and watchOS 6.1 respectively which have not yet been released to the public but already making rounds as beta releases for developers.

Last but not least, the Digi AirSIM Number Share also has a monthly fee of RM 10 although the telco will be providing a free 6-month subscription to customers that registered for the service before 30 April 2020. To learn more about the new feature, head on to Digi’s official website.
