Samsung has officially brought its CRG5 curved gaming monitor into Malaysia. The monitor, which was announced earlier this year at E3 2019, comes with several features designed to boost a gamer’s visual experience while also giving them an edge while in-game.
Specs-wise, the CRG5 uses a 27-inch VA panel that has a display curvature of 1500R and a maximum resolution of Full HD (1920 x 1080). Additionally, it also has an ultra-high 240Hz refresh rate, coupled with Samsung’s RapidCurve anti-tearing technology.
More importantly, the CRG5 is the brand’s display that meets NVIDIA’s requirements of being a G-Sync compatible monitor. Allowing gamers with gaming rigs running NVIDIA GeForce RTX series graphics cards to enjoy some of the anti-tearing benefits that are typically available to gaming monitors fitted with proper G-Sync modules.
Other features of the CRG5 include a near edge-to-edge display, and a contrast ratio of 3000: 1. Ports-wise, the display comes with one DisplayPort 1.2 port, two HDMI ports, and a headphone port.
The Samsung CRG5 curved gaming monitor is priced at RM1699 and is already available on the Samsung Online Store and all authorised resellers.
