CIMB Malaysia’s online banking service outage – which was initially attributed to a maintenance window early yesterday has yet to be resolved as of 12pm today.  We can independently confirm that the CIMB Clicks Mobile App as well as the CIMB Clicks desktop site remains accessible at time of writing, but customers who attempt to login into the system are thrown back a variety of different errors prompts.

The last service notification announcement that we sighted claimed that the technical issues will be resolved by 6am this morning, but that window has since come and gone.

At time of writing, there has been no further updates from CIMB with regards to the outage. The last social media update was from almost 18 hours ago, which has garnered over 1.2k comments from disgruntled customers.

We have reached out to CIMB Malaysia to get an update on the situation, as well as an estimate timeline on when services will be restored.
