As per what we have mentioned in our quick look of the AORUS 15 XA which features a 240Hz display, GIGABYTE is launching its 2019 edition of high performance laptops in Malaysia. The day has finally arrived yesterday and true enough, the company has brought plenty of such devices for the local consumer to check out.

In general, GIGABYTE high performance laptops come in two main series including the Aero series which is mainly targeted at content creators and professionals. On another hand, there is the AORUS series that is meant for gamers.

Among the new model that the company is introducing into Malaysia is the Aero 15 Classic. In general, this particular laptop actually has the same physical design as the early-2019 Aero 15 models but now has a different name not only because of the upgraded hardware but also to differentiate it from the new Aero 15 OLED.

Equipped with up to 9th Gen Intel Core i9 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics, customers can also choose to obtain the laptop with either LG 144Hz Full HD, Sharp 240Hz Full HD, or AUO 4K displays. There are seven different variants of Aero 15 Classic that will be made available in Malaysia:

As for the AORUS series, gamers can look forward to checking it out through three different models including the AORUS 15 which intended for those who are looking for peak performance. Comes with Intel Core i7-9750H processor, 16GB Samsung DDR4-2666 RAM, and 512GB Intel 760p PCIe solid state drive as standard features, they can choose to obtain this laptop with up to 240Hz Full HD IPS panel from Sharp alongside NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics.

GIGABYTE has also brought the 15-inch AORUS 5 and 17-inch AORUS 7 laptops into Malaysia, which are still designed to deliver premium experience but at lower price point according to the company. While still featuring Intel Core i7-9750H processor and LG 144Hz Full HD IPS display as a standard alongside Samsung DDR4-2666 RAM and Intel 760p PCIe SSD, their specs are capped at a much lower level than the previous two series that we mentioned earlier.

For example, the AORUS 5 is maxed out at 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD storage, and GeForce GTX 1650 graphics although it does have an additional 1TB hard drive. On another hand, the AORUS 7 features up to 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD storage, and GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics:

In terms of availability, the Aero 15 Classic, AORUS 15, AORUS 5, and AORUS 7 are expected to arrive in Malaysia by the middle of this month. For further updates, head on to GIGABYTE Notebook’s official home at Facebook or GIGABYTE Notebook Malaysia’s official Instagram page.
