Touch N Go (TNG) Digital earlier today has announced a new policy called Money-back Guarantee for TNG eWallet. In general, this policy is designed to protect users against unauthorized transactions by outlining the action that customers could take if they encountered such transactions being done through their TNG eWallet account.

For starters, customers should report unauthorized transactions via TNG eWallet app itself or through TNG eWallet’s official website. Once TNG Digital receives the report, the investigation and refund process will take place within 5 working days.

However, do note that the report to be done within 60 days of the unauthorized transaction date. Before they can submit a report, users also need to make sure that their TNG eWallet account has been verified through a process called eKYC which require them to submit a picture of their ID such as MyKad or Passport, together with a selfie.

In addition to the new Money-back Guarantee policy, TNG Digital has also deployed AI-based implementation within TNG eWallet backend system to detect and combat unauthorized transactions. Shall you require further information regarding the app, check out TNG eWallet’s official website right here.
