Samsung Launches New iChanged Trial And Buy Campaign

Samsung kicked off its iChanged campaign last week on 14 June, offering consumers rebates whenever they exchanged their old phones to purchase one of the three Galaxy S10 models. Now the brand is kicking it up a notch with a new Trial and Buy promotion.

The new Trial and Buy campaign will allow consumers to try out Samsung’s Galaxy S10+ smartphone for a set period of time. If this sounds all very interesting, here’s how you can partake in the trial.

Firstly, you’ll need to fill the online form that Samsung has created specifically for the campaign. Once you’ve filled out the form, customers will need to wait between 22 to 27 June. Qualified customers will receive a call from Samsung’s customer service for confirmation, at which point they can head down to the Samsung Experience Store at The Gardens between 28 June and 7 July 2019.

Usually, you’ll need to make a down payment in order to test out a device. In this case, customers will be required to make the full payment of the Galaxy S10+, which is RM3699. Additionally, you’ll also be making a Smart Switch on the spot too, swapping out your own personal device for the new Galaxy S10+.

Upon receiving the phone, consumers will have a trial period of 21 days to use and play around with the new Galaxy S10+. If the customer doesn’t think that the phone is a good fit for them at the end of the trial period, they may simply return the phone and get their original device and money back in full. Of course, it goes without saying that you’ll need to return the phone in good condition, and with all its accessories.

Bear in mind, if customers choose not to keep the Galaxy S10+, the cutoff date for returning the phone to the Garden outlet is 28 July 2019. Should you return the phone after that date, you won’t get your deposit back.

Should you choose to keep the phone, Samsung will sweeten the deal by throwing in both a pair of Galaxy Buds and the Galaxy Fit e, free of charge. However, should customers return the phone after 21 days, they’ll still receive a free Galaxy Fit e as a show of good faith.

The iChanged Trial and Buy promotion period began on 14 June 2019, and is set to conclude on 28 July 2019. For more information on the campaign, you can head on to Samsung’s official page.
