Xiaomi earlier today has begun to deliver invites to media for the launch of another new phone in Malaysia. This time around, it comes in the form of Mi 9T.
For those who are not familiar with the name, the Mi 9T is the third model under the company’s current flagship Mi smartphone series. Its existence was first made known by Xiaomi in late May and is believed to carry a pop-up selfie camera which is why the device has been speculated as a rebranded Redmi K20 for the international market.

Based on several teasers by Xiaomi, the new Mi 9T will carry an unspecified Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 4000mAh battery. Also featuring NFC capability, in-display fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port, it will also carry a 48MP camera sensor that we believed will become a part of the phone’s triple rear camera setup.
Scheduled to take place on 20 June, the launch in Malaysia will be held barely a week after the phone’s global unveiling on 12 June. With that, stay tuned for more information regarding the arrival of Mi 9T coming your way very soon.
