Honor Malaysia has released a media alert earlier today that teases the arrival of a new model for our market. The teaser clearly states that the new product comes in the form of a smartphone with a triple camera setup and judging from the recent news cycle, that product is likely the Honor 10i.
Launched in Russia earlier this month, the Honor 10i does indeed come with a triple rear camera system which inclusive of a 24MP f/1.8, 8MP f/2.4, and 2MP f/2.5 cameras. At the same time, the phone also features a 32MP selfie camera with support for face unlock although it does come with a dedicated fingerprint scanner on its back.
Aside from that, the Honor 10i also features 6.21-inch Full HD+ display and powered by Kirin 710F processor. Pre-installed with EMUI 9.0 on top of its Android Pie 9 operating system, the Russian variant comes standard with 4GB of RAM, 128GB internal storage, and 3400mAh battery.
Over there, the Honor 10i is priced at RUB 19,900 (~RM 1250) which puts it nicely in the highly competitive mid-range segment. Since Honor Malaysia didn’t reveal any names with the teaser, we could still be wrong here though but nevertheless, we’ll keep you posted once we hear more from the company.
