What was once planned as a January release turned into a Christmas present – German users of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are already getting their Android 9 Pie update, and by extension, the new One UI.
SamMobile reported on the availability of the update, and also the fact that it is available to those using Android 8 Oreo, as well as the beta build for Android 9. That said, it doesn’t look like users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is getting their Christmas present from the Korean tech giant though.
For those of you who are using the Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9+, now would be a good time to check if you have an update waiting. the software version for the update is G960FXXU2CRLI and G965FXXU2CRLI, respectively.
And if you do have the update, do also check out the new Bright Night night mode that Samsung added to the camera alongside the One UI. If it is indeed here, then maybe Samsung has another ace up the Galaxy S10‘s sleeve.
