Shopee Claims Exclusive Rights To 6GB Variant Of ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2

Last we heard of the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2, we mentioned that Lazada already had the device listed with a placeholder price. The listed device was the 4GB RAM variant, but we also know that there is a 6GB RAM version out there. Shopee has since claimed exclusive rights to that particular model.

In a press statement issued by Calvin Teng, Category Manager of Shopee Malaysia, pre-orders for the phone is said to start on 12 December 2018. This particular listing also shows that the 6GB RAM model will also come with 64GB of internal storage, which corroborates our previous report.

Naturally, the Shopee listing also doesn’t list the price of the device. And beyond the RAM and storage capacity, there isn’t much of a spec sheet either. This leaves the Lazada listing as still the most complete spec sheet, even if not one that has been confirmed by ASUS itself.

Still, the official launch is less than a week away, so the wait won’t be too long before every last detail of the phone is confirmed.
