At Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit in Hawaii today, the company has also roped in some of its partners to talk about their products. One of them is Samsung who already on board the 5G train and is working to release 5G product very soon.
In fact, one such product will be released within the first half of 2019 for the United States market. Not surprisingly, the new product which is a smartphone will be powered by the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip which Qualcomm has touted as the flagship chip for the 5G era.
Prior to the event today, Samsung has already announced that it will be working with Verizon to bring the new 5G smartphone to consumers in US. However, Samsung didn’t provide any additional in-depth details regarding the new phone.
The company also didn’t mention whether it will release the device in other markets as well. It is hard to guess whether Malaysia will receive it since we tend to receive Exyno-based models when it comes flagship Samsung phones but of course, never say never.
