Illegear has announced what it claims to be the world’s first 17.3-inch bezel-less gaming notebook. Called the Selenite, the bezel-less nature means that it fits in a 15.6-inch form factor.
The bezel-less tech is called InfiniVision, and the Full HD IPS display also comes with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Another claim that Illegear makes of the Selenite is that it’s the first gaming notebook with GeneSwitch brown mechanical keys. This means that you get the tactile feel of a mechanical keyboard, without as much of the noise. It also comes with per-key RGB lighting for your own rainbow on the keyboard.
The Selenite comes with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 GPU, and you have a choice between an Intel Core i7-8750H or an Intel Core i9-8950HK for the CPU. As is the case with ILLEGEAR, other specs are pretty much up to you to pick and choose.
You can have up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and you have up to two M.2 SSD slots as well as a SATA HDD. Thing brings your maximum internal storage capacity to 4TB.
The Illegear Selenite is already available now in Malaysia. Prices start from RM7099. If you need the exact price for the configuration of your choice, you can tinker around on the Selenite’s page here.
