Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Price Drops to RM2,499

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is now in Malaysia, but as is usually the case with new flagship smartphones, it’s a costly device. Well, if you still want a Note device but don’t want to break the bank, last year’s Samsung Galaxy Note 8 can be yours for a very good price now.

On Shopee, DirectD is offering the Galaxy Note 8 for only RM2,499 – that’s a whopping RM1,500 discount from the phone’s launch price. However, this is only for the Soft Pink model. If you want the Midnight Black colour instead, it costs slightly more at RM2,599; still a pretty hefty discount, of course.

G Store on Lazada is also offering the same prices for the Galaxy Note 8, but the retailer has more colour options. Just like DirectD, the Soft Pink model is listed at only RM2,499, while the Orchid Grey, Maple Gold, and Midnight Black colours go for RM2,599.

But according to the product listing, G Store will unseal the boxes for “warranty activation and quality check.” Rest assured, G Store is a reputable seller – it’s Mobile2Go’s Lazada store, after all.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may not be as cutting edge as the Note 9, but it’s still a plenty capable flagship phone. To learn more about the Note 8, check out our comprehensive review of it.
