Maxis just unveiled two new high speed fibre broadband plans with up to 65% lower prices. Set to commence from 13 September onwards, the new plans offer up to 100Mbps speed for only RM129 per month.

The telco company is offering two new consumer broadband plans: 30Mbps speed for merely RM89 per month, and 100Mbps for RM129. In comparison, Maxis’ most affordable broadband plan right now costs RM119 for only 10Mbps speed – that’s quite a huge price and speed differences.

Business users, on the other hand, can sign up for the 30Mbps plan for only RM99. As for the 100Mbps plan, it goes for RM139 – just slightly more over the consumer plans.

If you’re an existing user, worry not: you can still sign up for either one of these two plans. All you need to do is to fill up the form over here. New sign-ups would also need to fill up the form, and a Maxis representative will give you a call once that’s done.

However, before you sign up for Maxis’ new broadband plans, do note that they come with a 24-month contract. Terminating your subscription before the contract period ends will incur a RM500 penalty.

Maxis’ new high speed broadband plans are certainly enticing, and they will be available from 13 September onwards. To learn more and sign up for the new plans, head on to Maxis’ official site.
