Malaysia has gained another mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) with the official launch of BeONE Mobile. The new telco operates on Maxis’ network and is positioning itself around affordable prepaid connectivity, while also offering a multi-level incentive programme for its agents.
BeONE Mobile is designed as a community-focused MVNO, with its business model allowing agents to earn incentives from customers and other agents within their network. It is available now to Malaysian consumers, with SIM cards and subscriptions offered through BeONE Mobile’s sales channels.

Powered By Maxis
As an MVNO, BeONE Mobile does not operate its own nationwide mobile network. Instead, it uses Maxis’ infrastructure to provide 4G and 5G connectivity to its subscribers, with actual availability depending on network coverage and local conditions.
The company’s terms also state that customers can bring their existing mobile numbers over through mobile number portability (MNP). This allows users to switch to BeONE Mobile without having to change their current numbers.

Prepaid Plans From RM25
BeONE Mobile’s main monthly offering is its RM25 MNP plan, which comes with 150GB of high-speed 4G/5G data. The quota can also be fully used for hotspot purposes, while subscribers get unlimited domestic calls to all networks.
For users who want a new number instead, the RM38 monthly plan provides 250GB of high-speed 4G/5G data. This plan also includes full hotspot usage and unlimited calls to all networks.
There are also shorter-term options, including a RM3 daily plan with 3GB of data valid for 24 hours, as well as a RM12 weekly plan offering 15GB of data for seven days. The weekly option includes unlimited calls to all networks.
All of the plans are available without a contract, while the company states that its services can support download speeds of up to 1Gbps where network conditions permit. BeONE Mobile also provides a mobile app for managing its services and subscriptions.
Community And Entrepreneurship Programmes
As part of its official launch, BeONE Mobile introduced two programmes aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and digital access within local communities. The first is the BeONE Entrepreneurship Programme for the E-Hailing Community, which gives e-hailing drivers an opportunity to become BeONE Mobile agents alongside their existing occupations.
Participants will receive training, digital tools, as well as BeONE Mobile products and services to introduce to their networks. The company said the programme is intended to allow participants to explore additional entrepreneurship opportunities without having to leave their primary occupations.

BeONE Mobile also introduced its Community SIM Initiative, which kicked off in Lembah Pantai. Through the initiative, local residents can obtain a BeONE Community SIM with additional data intended to support digital access and connectivity.
The programme aims to give residents wider access to online services, communications and other digital opportunities. Following the launch, BeONE Mobile said it will continue expanding its agent network, introduce new products and services, and work with communities and partners to extend digital connectivity to more Malaysians.
