LINE and DJI have teamed up to create a limited edition version of the latter’s Spark drone. Called ‘LINE FRIENDS (BROWN) | Spark‘, it features the titular character Brown from the world famous messaging app on the drone and associated accessories.
Brown is one of the more popular characters in LINE’s mascot line-up, so it is no surprise it has been chosen as the graphics for this special edition product. The body of the Spark is decked with Brown decals, as well as a smaller Brown sticker on the remote control.
The Spark itself is unchanged from the original model announced last year. It is a compact, 4-rotor drone that is as big as a soft-drink can. On board is a 12MP camera mounted on a 2-axis gimbal for stabilized shots plus Bluetooth/WiFi connectivity. The battery lasts for a 16-minute flight per charge and features a 2-KM range for video transmission with flight speeds up to 50KM/h.
You can get the DJI ‘LINE FRIENDS (BROWN) | Spark’ right now for US$399 ( RM 1,627) from the official DJI webstore. Unfortunately, DJI webstore doesn’t ship directly to Malaysia which means that you need to find an alternative way to purchase it for the time being.
