Just earlier today, Apple has officially unveiled the newly refreshed version of its MacBook Pro notebooks with Touch Bar which feature several performance and security improvements. Interestingly, consumers don’t have to wait long to purchase them in Malaysia though as these new notebooks are available for order through Apple Malaysia’s website.
As mentioned in our previous report, the 13-inch MacBook Pro can now be obtained with up to quad-core 8th Gen Intel Core i7. However, the base model which starts at RM 7,499 is equipped with quad-core 8th Gen Intel Core i5 instead alongside 8GB LPDDR3-2133 RAM, and 256GB solid state drive.
When it comes to the 15-inch MacBook Pro, the base model features the 6-core 8th Gen Intel Core i7 together with 16GB DDR4-2400 RAM, AMD Radeon Pro 555X graphics with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM, 256GB solid state drive, and RM 9,999 price tag.
For those who want to go all out, they can choose to maximize the specifications of the Core i7 variant for the 13-inch MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM and 2TB solid state drive for RM 15,264. On another hand, the fully spec model 15-inch MacBook Pro carries 8th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, 32GB RAM, AMD Radeon Pro 560X graphics with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM, and 4TB solid state drive for RM 28,486.
According to the site, customers that ordered any of these newly refreshed MacBook Pro today will be able to receive their purchase from tomorrow onwards. As for customers that prefer to purchase these notebooks at Apple Authorized Resellers instead, they have to wait slightly longer as we don’t have any exact on-ground release date for the time being.
