A new leak online shows that Apple might be following in Huawei’s footsteps. The leaked blueprint for the upcoming iPhone X 2018 shows a triple camera module at the back as well as a larger size than last year.
The blueprints obtained by Forbes show the larger iPhone X will have a 6.5-inch display but in a more compact body than the iPhone 8. That being said, the design seems to be a direct copy of the iPhone X, complete with the notch and associated sensors for FaceID.
Also leaked is a blueprint for a ‘budget’ iPhone which also looks rather similar to iPhone X, but still has some noticeable differences. For one, it will have a single camera on the rear and according to reports, it will be using LCD instead of OLED for its display; this is mainly for cost-cutting measures. It is also reported that the budget phone will have 3D Touch disabled.
Apple is expected to launch its new range of iPhones sometime in the third quarter if all goes to plan. We should be seeing more info on the upcoming phones pretty soon, so stay tuned.
