Acer unveiled two new gaming laptops in New York: the Predator Helios 500, and the Predator Helios 300 Special Edition. These two laptops are pretty darn good gaming machines, and here’s our quick look video at both of them.
Out of the two laptops, the Helios 300 Special Edition is – in my opinion – the sleeker-looking laptop. It has a unique white and gold colour scheme not typically associated with gaming laptops, and it even has a fast 15.6-inch 1080p 144Hz display. But on the flipside, the Helios 500 is a more powerful machine, and it even supports Nvidia’s G-Sync technology.
At the moment, Acer Malaysia has no plans to bring in the Predator Helio 300 to our shores, but the Helios 500 is expected to be available locally very soon.
