Sennheiser announced its latest wireless active earbuds. The Sennheiser CX Sport combines rugged and sporty design in a wireless earbud form-factor. While it is designed to be used on the move, it will not fall out while in motion thanks to cleverly shaped earbuds.
Thanks to the ergonomic fins above the earbuds, it fits into any ear comfortably. The design also allows the earbuds to stay put, even with vigorous sports. Sennheiser also provides different earbud sizes (from XS to L) to ensure proper fit and comfort for all users.
Consumers expecting true wireless experience with the CX Sport will be disappointed as the two buds are still connected via a wire. However it does use Bluetooth 4.2 to connect to smartphones. Sennheiser has fitted it with a beefy battery that can last up to six hours in a single charge. Plus it features Qualcomm’s aptX technology for “clear, detailed sound with a satisfying bass response” and can connect to two devices at the same time.
The Sennheiser CX Sport will have a sticker price of US$129 (RM 513) when it ships globally in June.
