Sennheiser expanded its lineup of true wireless earbuds with the launch of the Accentum Clip back in June. This was followed by the debut of the Momentum True Wireless 5 last week. Now, the brand has announced that the two new audio products will be available on our shores pretty soon.
Before diving into the details, here’s a quick refresher on what the new earbuds have to offer. The duo shares a few features, such as Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. That said, each device is tailored for specific crowds with distinct preferences.
Accentum Clip

As its name suggests, the Accentum Clip comes with an open-ear clip-on design to preserve situational awareness. The lightweight buds feature a flexible silicone bridge and textured touch controls for managing playback and calls.
Internally, the device is equipped with 12mm dynamic drivers tuned for clarity and punchy bass with smooth treble. A dynamic EQ is on board for maintaining audio quality as the listener adjusts the volume. Beyond that, the earbuds support SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs. With the dedicated app, users can access customisation settings like a 5-band EQ and shareable presets.
Of course, a downside to the open-ear design is the lack of ANC. That said, the device does offer a noise reduction feature for clear calls, which is handled through a dual-microphone system paired with AI algorithms.
Aside from supporting Google Fast Pair, the buds can connect to two devices at the same time. Meanwhile, the battery can offer up to nine hours of playback on a single charge. With the charging case, that gets stretched to a maximum of 36 hours.
Momentum True Wireless 5

Succeeding the Momentum True Wireless 4, the Momentum True Wireless 5 serves as the flagship model, promising a premium listening experience in a portable package. In addition to the audio upgrades, the buds come with some improvements to the design. The most notable change here is the user-replaceable batteries for both the earbuds themselves and the charging case.
Beyond that, the device comes with 7mm TrueResponse dynamic drivers, delivering a detailed sound with full-bodied, bass-driven tuning. This setup also promises exceptional precision, clarity and dynamics. Meanwhile, aptX Adaptive codec support allows for 24-bit / 96 kHz audio transmission. Dolby Atmos head-tracking is also on board for more immersion.
The hybrid ANC system has also been revamped, with a dedicated four-microphone array. Other features include an anti-wind mode, as well as redesigned ear tips. For voice capture, the device leverages a set of six microphones and two bone-conduction accelerometers, which gets paired with an AI speech-extraction algorithm.
As for battery life, the buds can offer 12 hours of continuous playback per charge. With the case, users can get a maximum of 40 hours of listening time. This is, of course, with ANC disabled. With the feature turned on, playback time gets cut down to six and 25 hours respectively.
