A few leaked photos have surfaced on the net showing the possible successor to the current DJI Phantom 4. The yet unnamed device (presumably will be called the Phantom 5) looks to share similar designs with its predecessor, with the addition of an interchangeable lens system.
What makes this model stand out is the paint scheme; it is now in grey rather than white. The construction of the drone itself is also reportedly different. It will have a plastic GPS cover, aluminium shell and plastic landing gear.

The camera sensor itself will be a 1-inch CMOS sensor with interchangeable lenses. The system looks to feature the Micro Four Thirds mount, and four lens are said to be made available with the Phantom 5 launch – 15mm, 25mm, 35mm and 50mm.

Of course the leaked photos may be pre-production units and will not feature the final design. It is however interesting that DJI is bringing to its mainstream model the interchangeable lens system formerly seen on its more expensive ZenMuse camera for the Matrix.
