A short three second video clip of a few droplets of water coming into contact with a reflective surface has been posted to OnePlus’ official Twitter. The clip is followed with the message “Don’t you just hate it when you have to stop using your phone when it rains? So do we.”
It’s pretty obvious at this stage that OnePlus is telling the world that its upcoming OnePlus 6 is going to be waterproof and dustproof. However, the tweet falls short of indicating what sort of IP rating the phone will be getting.
Much of the OnePlus 6’s exterior and appearance has been shrouded in a veil of mystery. To date, OnePlus has slowly but surely leaked teasers of the official images of the phone’s back and side profile, going so far as to even troll its fans with a fake URL in the latter link.

There was also a leak on Weibo that apparently shows renders of what the OnePlus 6 looks like in all its glory, but seeing how OnePlus has yet to acknowledge the renders, we think it’s imperative to take these renders with a pretty liberal pinch of salt.
